Southwest Medical Temporary Clinic Closures

Southwest Medical, part of OptumCare, is taking the spread of COVID-19 very seriously. We are working tirelessly to protect our patients, staff members and our community.

As the number of COVID-19 cases in our community increases, we are redeploying our resources to make sure we can take care of the patients who urgently need us during this difficult time. This is best accomplished by reducing the number of our clinics that are seeing patients until the epidemic subsides.

This accomplishes multiple goals, including:

  • Safer visits for our patients by allowing for focused infection control at a limited number of clinics.
  • Reducing the number of health care providers providing direct care at any given time to maintain a healthy workforce to care for our patients.

All Southwest Medical urgent care locations and five convenient care walk-in clinics are open to treat minor illnesses and injuries. We are continuing to operate our drive-thru COVID-19 testing locations, which are available with a referral from your Southwest Medical primary care physician.

  • Beginning Thursday, March 19, 2020, we will temporarily limit radiology and imaging services. These changes are listed below.
  • Beginning Thursday, March 26, 2020, we will temporarily be closing the eight locations listed below.
  • Beginning Monday, March 30, 2020, we will temporarily be closing two convenient care locations listed below. 

Our other locations are operating as usual. Patients normally visiting temporarily closed primary, specialty and convenient care locations are being redirected to another nearby location for their scheduled or emerging health needs.

We understand this may cause some inconvenience for those with non-urgent care needs. We apologize and want you to know we are focused on providing the best possible care for you and for our community during this uniquely challenging time. Thank you for your understanding.

- All routine screenings will be rescheduled.
- Radiology is available with limited hours as some locations. Please call us to confirm hours at 702-877-5390.
- CT scans are available at the designated locations.
- Ultrasound services are limited at this time. Please call us at 702-877-5390.
- Imaging CD requests are available for pick up at the remaining open radiology locations. Questions on how to obtain prior imaging please call 702-877-5125, option 5.
